Mushroom Push Light
|
This fun and colourful Mushroom Lamp is a must have for your home. It makes a great night light and brightens up any room beautifully.  Simply push the top of the lamp to switch the LED lights inside on or off.  - Lasts over 100,000 hours! - 14cm High - Requires 4 x AA batteries Recent reviews: badlychoppedonions I love this light - I know it is really tacky and plasticky but, lets face it, it really is pretty cheap! For the price you can't expect something that isn't! My 5yr old son thinks it is the best thing ever, but then they have NO taste at that age! The batteries have lasted for about 10 days of nights (we used out our rechargeable ones) and it is really easy to push down to switch on. It gives out a warm, comforting glow that is just the right brightness. I thoroughly recommend this light if you don't mind how tacky looking it is and just want a cheap, fun nightlight for the kids. I wouldn't hestitate to buy another if needed. I am thinking of taking it camping with us this summer too as the battery life is really very good. Thom Davids My daughter started getting afraid of the dark at about three and a half, so we bought her this night light and she loves it. She is over four now and has it switched on every night. When she gets up to go to the bathroom during the night she carries it with her to light her way. She can switch it on and off easily and the batteries (4 x AA) last a reasonable length of time, even with the light switched on for around 11 hours each night. At £4.99 this is a great product. The plastics are a bit hard but that makes it sturdy when faced with a four year old bashing it. The colours are good and it was delivered very quickly. Top marks - cannot fault it. David Aughey The lamps are plastic through and through. Despite this they can take a fair beating from a toddler without showing it. They do look cheap, but then again - they are cheap so it's very much a getting what you pay for with these. The design is simple and sealed. This means they can't be taken apart - a plus when you want a small child to use it; a negative when that same small child drops it down the stairs and the bulb comes loose. They are useful as nightlights for kids who don't like the dark. The LED bulbs in them don't consume a lot of power so it'll run for weeks without the need to change the batteries (4x AA). The simple push on/off switch makes it easy for a small child to work themselves - but also for a half asleep parent to switch it on at 3am when the little darling needs attention. Overall, I'd say as long as you expect it to look cheap it'll do a really good job as a small child's night light. The kids don't care if it looks like a quality item or not - they just love the fact it's their light....more
