If you only need to remove thatch and aerate the roots of your lawn the supplied flexible blades will do just that down to an adjustable depth of 11mm. When you need to apply lawn dressing or penetrate the surface of your lawn optional fixed blades are available. If you wish to collect the scarified thatch a `thatch catcher` is also available as an optional extra. The 4hp Total Power OHV 4-stroke petrol engine adds to the user friendliness of this machine which keeps all controls at your fingertips by way of a remote depth adjuster and blade engagement lever attached to the handlebars.
