 | Sutton's Seeds - The History This outstanding book is the definitive history of one of the most famous names in British gardening. Aside from being a fascinating history, it is also a wonderful insight into the social history aspect of business and the local community in Earley/Reading through the 1800's and 1900's, and also includes a brief coverage of the Suttons business following its move to Torbay in South Devon in 1976. Put together entirely by a group of volunteers (including former Suttons employees) in recognition of the Company's 200th anniversary in 2006, the book has some 200 pages, with approximately 100 illustrations from Suttons archives. With a full colour soft bound cover, and several full colour pages, it's a great addition to anyone's bookshelves, and ideal for browsing during the 'off gardening' season. Size approximately 220mm x 200mm (8¾" x 8") the book is published by Reading University Press - maintaining the link with Suttons original home! SAVE £2.00 ON RSP OF £14.95!. . . . . ....more
